I Hate Jill Zarin Watch What Happens Live Nov 8, 2010 More Andy Cohen and more Bravo Clubhouse Fun! Monday, Thursday, Sunday we just can’t get enough of Andy Cohen. Many people suggested that the show change from a 30-minute format to a full hour, instead they’ve decided to put the show on twice a week and continue to post the after show on Bravotv.com. Andy’s guests this week, the hysterical NeNe Leakes and stunning, clever Cynthia Bailey from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. I really did laugh out loud, as this pair plays off each other well, they have chemistry! Andy starts out, as always, with his three obsessions of the week, the first being Kim’s junk..er estate…er Yard Sale. Kim learned very quickly that it is always a good idea to clean out drawers of furniture that you plan to sell. Who puts that stuff in storage completely jammed with clothes and junk? Second on Andy’s list is Phaedra’s due date, the topic of many discussions on the internet, on television and probably around many a water cooler, it is clear to me that this woman is lying. It is possible that Phaedra was just 7-months pregnant at the beginning of May (it was Mother’s day) and it is also possible that the baby was already 8 pounds as babies are born as large as 10 and 11
pounds at times. Here is where she lost me, she claims that her doctor is going to allow her to purposely deliver the baby early adding that as long as the baby’s lungs are fully developed, it’s
fine. It’ll be interesting to see if Phaedra defends this doctor at his medical license review hearing.
If he’s allowing this woman to dictate an early delivery just because she’s uncomfortable, I would think the doc could be in some serious trouble. Before we toss the doc in the clink and throw away the key, I think we need to consider just for a moment that Phaedra is a lying piece of garbage! She’s risking the reputation of a doctor and is either ignorant of the fact that purposeful early delivery is unethical and most likely illegal or she thinks that the people she’s selling this nonsense to are dumber than she is. Her vague answers about her due date, (late July or early August) were clearly a quick addition of her wedding date plus nine or ten months in the hopes that no one would catch on to her shotgun wedding that the baby attended as a passenger. It was clear that NeNe and Cynthia knew the truth and were unable to say much because it will play out on the show. That Bravo contract is really hammered home to these housewives, isn’t it? Third on Cohen’s list was Kandi with Lawrence and Kim in her recording studio and the stark contrast of Lawrence’s beautiful voice and Kim’s cringe-worthy screech. When Andy asked his guests what they thought of Kim’s singing I think NeNe said it best, “bless her heart”. NeNe had some priceless answers to Andy’s questions, she was on fire and had me truly laughing out loud. So much of NeNe’s personality is her facial expressions and gestures so it doesn’t translate well in a blog but wow, if you missed it and you’re a fan of NeNe’s, you have to watch it on BravoTV.com. NeNe explained to Andy that some people may have “book sense” but not “common sense” to which Andy asked if she was talking about Phaedra, NeNe simply said, “I’m just sayin’” adding that she prefers Phaedra’s husband Apollo to Phaedra. I think we all do, maybe “pity” would be a better description. When asked if NeNe thought Sheree was shallow, she answered, “no” but her gestures said a resounding, Yes! Andy asked NeNe about Phaedra’s baby shower, NeNe seemed to have the same impression as the rest of us, it was over the top and the beauty of a baby shower is to annoy only close friends and family forcing them to oooh and ahhh over baby clothes, diapers and rattles as they’re unwrapped. Cynthia held her own with NeNe, she’s one smart lady and isn’t intimidated by NeNe’s larger than life presence, admitting to having a boob job and a little liposuction, Cynthia was easy going and honest in the hot seat. The Lame Game this week was some homemade ghetto wheel with glued on photos of different men with different negative qualities. Cynthia and NeNe were asked if these qualities were deal breakers. It really was lame and nothing interesting came out of any of it. It did however solidify my disgust at Andy for his obsession with Bishop Eddie Long, I’ll bet Andy is sorry he cut ties with DeShawn Snow, former Atlanta Housewife. DeShawn introduced Long on the show as her pastor. Throwing away the Mazel and Jackhole tonight, Andy decided to provide us with his three wishes this week. 1. Best wishes to Aretha Franklin for a speedy recovery. 2. Hoping viewers worship Iman on the new Bravo show, The Fashion Show. 3. Hoping the Obama’s host a weekly dance party show. Playing footage of the Obamas dancing in India with young children, Andy giggles like a school girl. Watch What Happens Live will be on Thursday and Sunday at 11pm – 10pm Central time.
